Bishop hailed such number high percentage of electronic certificates of origin and called them “сonsiderable and very excellent” as it was the best performance among all 73 chambers of commerces that are part of the ICO.

A certificate of origin is completed by the exporter and certified by a recognised issuing body, like TCCIMA, identifying the country the goods in an export shipment were produced, manufactured or processed in.

TCCIMA joined the ICC Accreditation Chain in 2016 as part of its efforts to lead Iranian chambers of commerce in issuing electronic certificate of origin, Financial Tribune reports.

Adherence to the Certificate of Origin Accreditation Chain is voluntary for chambers. By joining the accreditation chain, chambers agree to follow internationally applicable and widely accepted standards.
