Finland mulls joining INSTEX

The Scandinavian country says it’s considering options to be one of the European countries that use the payment channel to continue trade with Iran.

Parvaneh Mafi, a lawmaker from the Iranian capital Tehran, has held high-level talks with Finnish officials on a wide range of issues, especially economic. She says Helsinki should be a shareholder in INSTEX.

Chair of European Parliament delegation on relations with Iran meets ICCIMA president

Finnish politician, Tarja Cronberg, who is on a visit to Iran, met with Iran private sector presdient, Gholam Hossein Shafei, in a bid to understand the current state of the affairs in Iran after the unilateral withdrawal of the US from the 2015 nculear deal and revival of sanctions. She also talked about the European financial channel, the so-called Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV).
