The 32nd book fair held at the Iranian capital is offering thousands of books about China and its culture in a bid to revive the old Silk Road through cultural exchanges.
Lu Jianzhong, chairman of Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce (SRCIC), has assigned Gholam Hossein Shafei, president of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture as the SRCIC deputy.
Head of the Strategic Research Center of Iran’s Expediency Council Ali Akbar Velayati voiced the country’s support for the revival of the Silk Road.
