Iran, Eurasian Economic Union’s two main steps for smoother trade ties

Daniel Ibrayev, a member of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Trade Council, says the Central Asian economic entity and Iran are taking two steps to coordinate efforts and moves in a bid to pave the way for a smoother trade relations once Tehran enters the Free Trade Zone with the five-member body.

Established in 1884, Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) is a non-profit and non-governmental institution which aims at facilitating economic growth and development in the country. Iran Chamber tries to further coordinate the activities of the private sector. As an economic forum, representatives from both the government and the private sector attend Iran Chamber's sessions.
