ICCIMA president accompanies President Raisi in Turkey visit

President of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) Samad Hassanzadeh has left Tehran for Ankara, accompanying President Ebrahim Raisi in his visit to the Turkish capital.

President of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) Samad Hassanzadeh has left Tehran for Ankara, accompanying President Ebrahim Raisi in his visit to the Turkish capital.

Hassanzadeh’s travel is his first foreign visit after being elected as the new president of Iran Chamber of Commerce on January 21.

He told reporters prior to his departure that the visit is an opportunity for economic actors of both countries to give a boost to bilateral trade.

Hassanzadeh put the current level of trade between Iran and Turkey at around $7 billion, adding that the two countries have plans to increase the figure to $30 billion.

He added that private sector actors of Iran and Turkey are scheduled to have a meeting as part of the visit to Turkey by President Raisi.
