Iran’s iron and steel export volume up 13% in four months

The Iranian Steel Producers Association has announced that iron and steel exports increased by 13% in volume during the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year (starting on March 21) compared to the same period last year.

The Iranian Steel Producers Association has announced that iron and steel exports increased by 13% in volume during the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year (starting on March 21) compared to the same period last year.

The export value of iron and steel chain products in the first four months of the current year rose by 7%, reaching over $2.3 billion.

The export volume of billet and bloom, which had experienced an 8% decline in the three months, reversed its trend in the four-month report, registering a 15% growth.

The upward trend in exports of raw materials for the steel chain continues, with iron ore concentrate exports surging by 78% compared to the same period last year.
