Nazanin Daneshvar, founder and CEO of ‘Takhfifan’, who represented Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture at the 7th Asia-Pacific Young Entrepreneur Award has been announced the winner.
The final contest was held as part of the 32nd Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) Conference on 23-24 September 2018 in Istanbul, Turkey.
Young entrepreneurs from five finalist Asia-Pacific countries presented their key achievements in front of the CACCI jury.
This is the first time that Iran wins Asia-Pacific Young Entrepreneur Award.
Takhfifan (meaning discount), founded in 2011, is the first group buying website in Iran and a pioneer of e-commerce in the country. The website calls itself "the biggest female founded startup in Iran" and employs over 200 people.
The Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry is a regional association principally composed of the national chambers or associations of commerce and industry in Asia and the Western Pacific.
