Foreign investment in Iranian industry, mine and trade areas in the first 11 months of the past Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2021 – February 19, 2022) has grown 91.4% in comparison to the preceding year’s corresponding period, according to latest figures released by the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.
The report elaborated on the investments made on Iranian industry, mine and trade sectors and said that some 129 cases of foreign investments worth $3.485 billion were made in Iran in the 11-month period.
The foreign investments in the period under review showed a year-on-year 91.4% increase in value terms while declining by 4.4% in terms of the cases of foreign investment.
A total of 135 cases of foreign investments at the value of $1.821 billion were made in Iran in the corresponding period of a year earlier.
