Iran has resumed the exports of poultry products to neighboring Iraq, according to the director of Iran Veterinary Organization.
Mohammad Aghamiri said on Wednesday that Iran’s veterinary exports to Iraq is taking place after a six-year ban on the Iranian exports of the products to the country.
He noted that the lifting of the ban is taking place due to the health of the Iranian production cycle.
The official said that an extremely severe bird flu has been successfully curbed in Iran and the country is seeking to fully root out five more diseases which he believed requires the help of other related organizations.
