ATA Airlines has launched return flights between Urmia, the capital and largest city of Iran’s West Azarbaijan Province, and Istanbul, Turkey, according to the director general of West Azarbaijan’s airports.
“Flights from Istanbul to Urmia have been scheduled for Sundays and Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. Return flights are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. of the same day,” Mohammad Ali Natel-Qaramaleki was also quoted as saying by the news portal of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.
ATA Airlines is an Iranian carrier based at Tabriz International Airport. It operates scheduled domestic and international services in the Middle East, as well as charter services.
