Iran’s revenues from exports of non-oil exports amounted to some $48.8 billion in the first 11 months of the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 21, 2022), according to the Head of Iran’s Customs Administration (IRICA), IRNA news agency reported.
Mohammad Rezvanifar said that the figurer shows a 12.22% year-on-year increase in terms of value while declining 1.16% in terms of tonnage.
He put the country’s imports at 33.6 million tons worth $53.7 billion during the period under review which he said is up 15.28% YOY in value although decreasing 8.61% in weight.
Rezvanifar noted that Iran’s exports of petrochemical products accounted for 40.25% and 44.49% of the country’s total non-oil exports in terms of weight and value respectively.
According to the official, China, Iraq, Turkey, the UAE, and India were the top five destinations for Iranian products in the time span. These five countries received 73.43% of the total weight and 75.79% of the total value of the Iran’s non-oil products in the 11-month period.
