A latest update by the Iranian Ministry of Health has put more cities on COVID alert.
The report color-coded one Iranian city as red or at extremely high COVID risk.
High-risk cities coded as orange also spiked from 6 to 13, according to the ministry’s update, Tasnim reported.
On Wednesday, the country registered double digit daily COVID deaths after months that the deaths were single digit, with many days on which no COVID-related deaths were reported.
