An official at Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) announced the inauguration of the country’s trade center in Afghanistan on Saturday.
Mohammad Sadeq Qannadzadeh said that the 11-story trade tower has all the necessary facilities for trade and economic activities.
Presently, more than 30 trade firms have carried out their registration operations for deploying in this center, he stated, adding that the representatives of the center can carry out marketing and research activities for the traders as well.
Afghanistan with 1.58 million tons worth $792 million of exports from Iran in the first half of the Iranian calendar year (March 21-Sept. 22) was the fourth destination for Iranian commodities among neighboring countries following Iraq, the UAE and Turkey.
