Russia welcomes the active contribution of Iranian companies to the fish and dairy market of the European country, a Russian official said.
Sergey Dankort, the chairman of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision of Russia, made the remark in a meeting with head of the Iran Veterinary Organization Mohammad Aghamiri in the Russian capital Moscow on Monday night.
Dankort noted that Russia has already issued permits for Iranian firms to work in the big market of Russia.
He further expressed Russia’s readiness to hold training courses to acquaint the two sides with systems of sanitary surveillance of protein and dairy products.
Lauding the cooperation between the two organizations over the past years, Iran’s Aghamiri expressed hope that tradesmen and people of both countries could benefit from the collaborations.
Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali who was present in the meeting underlined in the meeting that the interactions between the two governments are developing quickly in various fields.
