Average daily gasoline consumption in Iran has reached about 113 million liters in the 10th month of the current Iranian calendar year (started on December 22, 2023), the managing director of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) said.
According to Jalil Salari, the consumption of petroleum products in the country has been following a downward trend and if the current situation continues, the officials will be able to manage gasoline consumption in the holiday season, Shana reported.
Back in August 2023, Oil Minister Javad Owji said there are currently 4,400 active gas stations across the country.
The minister noted that despite the increase in consumption there is no concern about fuel supply.
