The latest report from the Iranian steel producers’ association says that the country’s exports of steel have surpassed nine million metric tons (mt) in the nine calendar months to September 22.
Such a figure is considered as a new record the latest of which goes back to about two years ago, according to the report on Thursday.
The association’s report indicates the exports of ingots and slabs account for more than half of the country’s exports of iron and steel in the period under review.
