Iran has exported some 44.89 billion worth of commodities in the 11 calendar months leading to February 19, according to a recent report by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).
The IRICA report said that the value of the country’s 11-month exports marks an 8.87% year-on-year fall while registering an 11.42% rise in volume terms.
Iran also imported as much as $59.88 billion worth of goods in the timespan which shows an 11.11% growth compared to figures reported in last year’s corresponding period.
China was reported to be the top destination for Iranian production in the period under review, with UAE being the number one source of imports to Iran.
