A recent report by World Steel Association (WSA) says Iran has made the biggest growth among world’s leading steel producers in January.
The WSA report said that Iran produced some 2.6 million metric tons (mt) of steel in January which is up 39.3% year-on-year.
Iran stood on the 9th place of the world’s biggest steel producers in the month under review, according to the report.
It added that China was the leading producer of the mineral in January with a 77.2 mt of output, followed by India and Japan with 12.5 mt and 7.3 mt of output respectively.
