Iran has produced as much as 221,409 metric tons (mt) of aluminium ingots during the four calendar months to late July, according to a recent report by the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
The IMIDRO report published on Tuesday signals that the figure has remained almost flat compared to that of last year’s corresponding period.
South Aluminum Corporation, IRALCO, Almahdi Aluminium Co. and Iran Alumina Company are respectively the top four Iranian companies responsible for the lion’s share of the country’s aluminium ingot production
Also, Iran Alumina Company manufactured 76,885 metric tons of alumina powder, 129,960 metric tons of alumina hydrate, and 232,000 metric tons of bauxite in the four months under review.
