A 35-member Iranian trade delegation specializing in the food and beverage sector will attend the 6th Oman AgroFood Exhibition in Muscat from December 2 to 6, a key platform for fostering B2B ties and exploring opportunities in the Omani market.
Jamal Razeghi Jahromi, the chairman of the Iran-Oman Joint Chamber of Commerce, announced the delegation’s participation in the exhibition during an interview with Iran Chamber of Commerce newsroom on Saturday.
Although Iranian businesses will not have booths in the exhibition, the delegation aims to explore market potential and hold B2B meetings with Omani counterparts.
Razeghi emphasized the strategic significance of the Omani market, stating, “While Oman’s market is not a big one in terms of production and consumption, it is of special significance for Iranian exporters targeting European markets through re-exports.”
The delegation’s agenda includes meetings with Oman’s Chamber of Commerce president, Omani business leaders, and Iran’s ambassador to Muscat. The event is seen as a critical step in strengthening trade ties between the two nations.
