Mohammad Khazaei, Director General of ICC Iran, has been reelected as member of the General Council at the World Chambers Federation (WCF) of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
Khazaei secured his second consecutive term following a competitive election in which 59 candidates from various chambers of commerce vied for 20 available seats.
Of the 40-member General Council, 20 members are elected by national chambers of commerce around the world, while the remaining 20 are appointed by the ICC WCF. The newly elected council members will serve a three-year term beginning July 1.
In 2019, Pedram Soltani, former Vice President of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, was also elected for a second term as a member of the ICC WCF General Council.
