A new report by the Oil Ministry suggests that households and commercial units collectively accounted for 75% of the total gas consumed in Iran on Friday.
According to the report, non-industrial subscribers burned as much as 645 million cubic meters of gas on Friday which accounted for 75% the country’s total daily consumption.
The report added that demand by household subscribers continues to rise amid cold winter days.
