A report by Iran’s state IRNA news agency cited official reports on Monday which said Iran has become one of top five trade partners of Tajikistan in 2025.
The report said that the volume of trade between Iran and Tajikistan grew 28% from $377.7 million in the preceding year to reach $483.9 million in 2025.
Some $371.2 million of the sum were Iran’s exports to Tajikistan while Iran’s imports from the Central Asian country stood at $112.8 million, according to the report.
Petrochemical, constructional and food items were Iran’s main export items to Tajikistan during the one-year period, with raw materials, such as cotton, accounting for the lion share of Tajikistan’s exports to Iran.
