Payam Bagheri, vice president of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, said negotiations between Iran and the United States should prioritize economic outcomes to help strengthen the country’s economy.
Bagheri said the talks should be pursued with an economic-oriented approach, allowing Iranian businesses to benefit from international opportunities and contribute to national economic development.
He added that the chamber supports Iran’s negotiating team and expects economic considerations to remain central to discussions, agreements and interactions under negotiation, with the aim of achieving tangible economic openings for the country.
Bagheri also emphasized the importance of ensuring that the negotiations deliver practical economic benefits, reflecting the private sector’s expectations for improved conditions and expanded engagement with global markets.
