Iran chamber chief to attend ICC World Council meeting in Paris

Samad Hassanzadeh, president of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, is scheduled to attend the 216th session of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) World Council in Paris on June 11.

Hassanzadeh will be accompanied by Mohammad Khazaei, secretary-general of ICC Iran, at the meeting, which will be hosted by the French capital.

The ICC World Council is the global body’s highest governing authority. The upcoming session will address a range of organizational and financial matters, including approval of audited financial statements for 2025, membership dues for national committees and groups for 2027, and elections for the ICC presidency, vice-presidents, and members of the executive board.

Other items on the agenda include reports from the ICC president and secretary-general, an update from the International Court of Arbitration, and activities of the World Chambers Federation (WCF) and the ICC Institute of World Business Law. The council will also hold votes on proposed topics put forward by members.
