Iran-Vietnam Business Forum is scheduled to be held in Iran Chamber of Commerce headquarters in Tehran on Wednesday.

The business forum will take place as part of an upcoming visit to Tehran by Vietnamese parliament speaker.

As many as 70 Vietnamese businesspersons are expected to attend the business forum.  

The forum will be focused on getting familiar with the needs and capacities of the Vietnamese market as well as the business and investment advantages of the Southeast Asian country.  

Businesspeople of Iran and Vietnam will also hold business-to-business (B2B) meetings on agriculture and seafood, technology of drying and processing agricultural products, food, rice, different spices, carpets, Iranian handicrafts, health and cosmetic products, cotton textiles, trade and services, renewable energies, AI technology, gene and cell technology, maritime transportation and port operations, textiles and so on.  

Ahead of the visit to Iran by the Vietnamese parliament speaker, the country’s ambassador to Tehran Luong Quoc Huy made a visit to Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) on July 11 where he had a meeting with ICCIMA President Hossein Selahvarzi.

Speaking during the meeting, the ambassador hailed Iran’s true foreign policy, noting that Iran is economically important for the regional and Asian countries and the entire world as well.
