President of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) Gholam Hossein Shafei and his visiting Tajik counterpart Jumakhonzoda Jamshed signed a cooperation document in Tehran on Monday.
The document was signed on the sidelines of a visit to Tehran by Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon.
The signing ceremony was participated by the presidents of both Iran and Tajikistan.
The purpose of the document is to form a joint council of Iranian and Tajik entrepreneurs.
Tajikistan’s president arrived in the Iranian capital at the top of a high-ranking political and economic delegation on Sunday afternoon.
During his stay in Tehran, the officials of both countries signed 17 cooperation documents on different transportation, investment, sports, energy, education and tourism areas.
