Iran’s oil output in March remained unchanged at 2.65 million barrels per day (bpd), compared to the previous month, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA).
In its latest monthly report on the world oil market, the IEA said that the total daily production of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) in the third month of 2023 dropped to 29.09 million barrels, IRNA reported on Monday.
That accounts for a 140,000 bpd cut compared to February.
Based on the report, oil output by eight OPEC members, including Iran, remained unchanged in March, while four countries faced a drop in production. Only Venezuela’s output rose in March.
Iran had produced 2.63 million bpd of oil in January, it said.
