A senior Iranian official has invited Luxembourg’s businessmen to put their money into the exploration of Iran’s mineral wealth.

Mohammad Reza Ansari, the deputy head of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Trade, made the statement while addressing a seminar titled “Iran-Luxembourg: Partners in a Changing World” at the premises of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in the western European country on Thursday.

Ansari noted that Iran has unfinished projects worth up to $1,700 billion, which is “an ideal opportunity for foreign investors”, IRNA reported.

More than 250 traders and top executives of the private sectors of Iran, Belgium and Luxemburg took part in the event that was jointly organized by the Chamber of Commerce of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the Iranian Embassy, Belgium and the European Union.
