Iran’s aggregate non-oil exports surpassed 45.3 billion dollars over the first ten months of the Iranian year (March 21, 2022 – January 20, 2023), according to Head of the Trade Promotion Organization (TPO).

Speaking in a live televised speech, Alireza Peimanpak said that the figure shows an 18% rise in comparison to figures from last year’s corresponding period.

The official noted that the rise in Iranian non-oil exports is taking place as diversification of the county’s export markets are on the agenda of the government of President Ebrahim Raeisi.

Peimanpak expressed hope that the Iranian non-oil exports will even go beyond 51 or 52 billion dollars which he said is the highest figure of the past 10 years.

Noting that “we have activated the good markets of neighboring countries in the new government”, he referred to Oman’s market which he believed was responsible for over 70% of the rise in Iran’s this year exports.

The official added that Iran have also registered a 24% growth in exports to the Eurasian countries this year.
