The new board of representatives of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) has convened for the first time to elect the new ICCIMA president.
They will also elect the other six members of ICCIMA board of directors in today’s session which is being held in the headquarters of Iran Chamber of Commerce in Tehran on Sunday.
The new ICCIMA president will replace Gholam Hossein Shafei who served in the post since September 2016.
Shafei refrained to run in the 10th edition of the local chambers of commerce elections in March and will not be a member of the board of representatives in the new tenure.
Hossein Selahvarzi, Hossein Pirmoazzen and Younes Jaeleh are the three candidates who will compete for the presidency of Iran Chamber of Commerce.
