China has pledged to engage in Iran’s housing market within the next two months, according to an Iranian member of parliament.
Mohammadreza Rezaei Kouchi said the Chinese companies will make investments in the Iranian housing projects and no Chinese workforce or constructional material is supposed to enter Iran as the country has no dependence in these areas.
The Chinese will have a share in the construction for their investment, the lawmaker said.
He added that the transfer of technology has been one of the conditions set by Iran for Chinese investments in the country’s housing sector.
