Iran’s Oil Minister, Bijan Zanganeh, said on Sunday that the country’s oil exports had not been impacted so far by the recent tanker incidents in the Persian Gulf.

“Oil tankers and export of oil is one of the issues in which we have limitations and the US and its allies have caused restrictions for us and we have to be sensitive,” the Iranian oil ministry’s SHANA news agency quoted him as saying.

Iran Revoluntionary Guards Corps (IRGC) seized a British-flagged ship in the Persian Gulf for violating international maritime regulations and being involved in an accident there.

The Iranian minister also noted that no other country can fill Tehran's oil in the market.

The Iranian government has been hard at work to keep its oil sales afloat following the US renewed sanctions.
