Iran-Cuba business forum will be held on 10 August at Iran Chamber of Commerce, according to Iran private sector parliament.

The forum will take place as the two nations celebrate the 40th anniversary of establishment of their diplomatic relationships.

The event will start at 10 a.m. at Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) in Tehran.

Cuban Ambassador to Iran Alexandr Bandrich Vega and the embassy’s commercial councilor Tania Causse will inform the Iranian businessmen about trade and investment in the Caribbean nation.

Cuba imports much of its foodstuff, machinery and chemical and exports vaccines, antibiotics, nickel and tobacco.

Both Iran and Cuba are suffering for years from the US unilateral, extraterritorial sanctions that have impeding major investment projects in these countries.

However, they are keen on expanding their trade ties despite their distanc and other problems, caused by sanctions
