Iran will soon have its first business school that will be built as a joint initiative of Tehran Chamber of Commerce and Amirkabir University of Technology.

Masoud Khansari, President of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (TCCIMA) and Seyed Ahmad Motamedi, President of Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT), also known as Tehran Polytechnic, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish Iran’s first business school.

“In business schools, students learn lots of skills. We hope that a good model is devised for the joint business school of Amirkabir University of Technology and Tehran Chamber of Commerce,” said Motamedi.

The planned business school will be based on three axes of education, innovation and research, according to the AUT’s president.

“The Iranian economy isn’t small. These sanctions will be lifted one day and the Iranian economy will join the world economy. One of the preconditions for this link is to raise the management knowledge in the country,” said Khansari.
