Iran Chamber of Commerce has denounced assassination of Dr Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, a top nuclear scientist and the head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Ministry of Defense.

“The cowardly assassination of this dedicated and committed scientist by the enemies of the Islamic Revolution left a great loss, but it will definitely strengthen the determination of the Iranian nation on the path of progress and development,” Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, which is the main private sector advocacy group in Iran, said in a statement.

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was assassinated by terrorists on Friday in his vehicle in a small city east of the capital Tehran in an attack that also involved a car bombing.

Iranian government officials and military commanders have hinted that the Israeli regime could have been behind the terror attack, vowing harsh revenge against all the criminals involved.
