Rahim Banamolaei, the chairman of an Iran-Poland Joint Committee, said that the two countries are due to open a joint chamber of commerce in the near future.

Noting that an Iranian delegation is now in Warsaw for tourism discussions, Banamohaei said that a Polish delegation will then visit Iran which is scheduled to visit two Iranian provinces.

He noted that Iran-Poland Joint Chamber of Commerce will probably open simultaneous with the visit to Iran by the Polish delegation.

He regretted that the volume of trade between Iran and Poland still remains between 40 and 50 million dollars which he said “is not remarkable by no means”.

“Our banking problems are not solved yet and the businesspersons can trade through third countries,” he said.

Banamolaei also said that a joint commission have to be set up between the two countries which he said can help boost bilateral trade between Tehran and Warsaw.
