Iran's Health Ministry announced that no Iranian cities are color-coded as red or in very high-risk COVID conditions.

The announcement said on Saturday that the number of daily COVID deaths dropped to three over the past 24 hours as a new wave of the disease has dramatically eased in the country.

In late July when Iran was in the midst of a new COVID wave, the Health Ministry put the number of Iranian cities on red COVID alert at 120.

A total of 65,085,903 Iranians have received the first dose of COVID vaccine with 58,486,429 people having received the second dose.

Moreover, 31,224,356 people have also received the third or fourth shots as the booster jab.
