Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) announced the names of the winners of the 10th edition of the local chambers of commerce elections which was held across Iran on Saturday.
The results of the elections were announced at 22:00 local time, one hour after the end of the voting.
The elections began throughout the 34 local chambers of commerce of the country at 8:00 a.m. local time (4:30 GMT) as Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade Reza Fatemi Amin came to Iran Chamber of Commerce to officially launch the elections.
The voting was scheduled to be held nationwide for 10 hours until 18:00 local time but it was then extended until 21:00.
The list of the winners in different local chambers of commerce is now available on elections webpage of Iran Chamber of Commerce.
Any probable demand to review the results of the elections will be dealt with as of today.
As much as 1,230 candidates were competing in the voting, according to Hossein Mir Mohammad Sadeqi, the head of the Supervisory Board of the Elections.
