President of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) Hossein Selahvarzi says the industrial and non-industrial capabilities of Iran as well as mining potentials of Guinea provide a proper ground for economic cooperation between the two countries.
Selahvarzi made the remarks during a meeting with his Guinean counterpart Elhadj Mamadou Baldé which happened on the sidelines of the 35th meeting of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture (ICCIA) in Baku, Azerbaijan.
He invited the Guinean side to pay a visit to Iran at the head of a trade delegation to explore ways for further expansion of bilateral transactions.
The president of Iran Chamber of Commerce said that Iran is highly advanced in producing petrochemical and other chemical products, including bitumen, as well as auto industry, expressing the country’s readiness to meet the needs of Guinea in these areas.
The president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of the Republic of Guinea, for his part, welcomed an invitation by Selahvarzi for a visit to Iran, urging the need for more trade cooperation between the two countries.
He underlined the significance of familiarizing the businesspersons of Iran and Guinea with the economic potentials of each other and called on Iran Chamber of Commerce to play a more active role in this regard.
