Vice President of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) says the ICCIMA has to explore ways to find mechanisms for the removal of arbitrary Western sanctions on Iran.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Iran Chamber of Commerce newsroom, Qadir Qiafeh underlined the role that the joint chambers of commerce can play in helping the removal of sanctions.
He stressed that Iran Chamber of Commerce has to focus on the removal of the sanctions, not on bypassing them, urging the need to make use of the potentials of international organizations especially in the areas where Iranian companies are not sanctioned.
Qiafeh said that some Iranian companies are not sanctioned but they cannot benefit from the privileges of non-sanctioned companies.
He noted that Iran Chamber of Commerce has to identify mechanisms and offer them to these companies.
President of Iran Chamber of Commerce Hossein Selahvarzi said few days earlier that “within the next few weeks, we will form a legal committee to deal with the issue of sanctions relief and providing legal consultations to companies for countering the sanctions.”
