A newly launched diesel processing project has increased Iran’s diesel production by another 16 million liters per day.
The project was inaugurated by President Ebrahim Raisi in Isfahan Refinery in Central Iran on Friday.
The project is also expected to increase the country’s capacity to produce Euro-5 diesel by 26 million liters/day in the near future.
Iran had begun working on the project in early 2015 in an area as wide as 420 hectares.
This significant project is said to create jobs for 1,200 local people.
