Iran has produced as much as 149,310 tons of tea in this crop year to set a 13-year record, according to the head of the Iranian Tea Organization.
Habib Jahansaz said that Iran’s annual tea production was 29% high in comparison to figures reported in the past crop year.
An official report said last December that the Iranian tea was exported to 23 countries.
It said that Uzbekistan, Germany, the UAE, Canada, Ukraine, the Netherlands, Pakistan, and India were the main destinations for Iranian tea.
