Iran and Turkmenistan have agreed to launch a joint trade council within the next three months.
The agreement has been made by representatives from Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
The two sides signed the agreement on the sidelines of the 17th Iran-Turkmenistan Joint Economic Cooperation Commission in Ashgabat.
They also agreed to make the necessary planning for expansion of cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries and exchange trade information.
