“Regular ICCIA meetings to help expand trade exchanges among Islamic countries”

President of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) Hossein Selahvarzi says holding regular meetings of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA) will give a boost to trade exchanges between Islamic countries.

Selahvarzi made the remarks in a meeting in Doha with ICCIA President Abdullah Saleh Kamel.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 39th ICCIA General Assembly Meeting in the Qatari capital on Sunday.

The Iran Chamber of Commerce president noted that holding the present ICCIA meeting in Doha provided a chance for exchange of views among the member chambers.

The ICCIA president, for his part, hailed the cooperation of Iran Chamber of Commerce with the ICCIA secretariat, also expressing satisfaction with the Iran Chamber of Commerce’s hosting the next edition of the ICCIA meeting.

Kamel stressed that Iran is an influential and significant country in the Muslim world.

In response to Selahvarzi’s invitation for paying a visit to Tehran, he expressed hope that the visit will take place after the holy month of Ramadan.
