Iran Chamber of Commerce condoles over major terrorist attack in Kerman

Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) has issued a statement condoling with the Iranian nation over a deadly terrorist bombing in the country’s southern province of Kerman.

Dozens of people were killed and hundreds were injured in twin explosions outside Kerman’s Martyrs Cemetery on Wednesday.

The explosions came on the day people held a memorial service for General Qassem Soleimani, the late Iranian commander who was assassinated on January 3, 2020 in a US drone strike in the Iraqi capital Baghdad.

In its statement, the Iran Chamber of Commerce sympathized with the families of the victims, praying for speedy recovery of those injured in the incident.

The statement said that the terrorist attack in Kerman was a sign of the desperation of the enemies against the will of the Iranian nation.

The incident which occurred on the 4th martyrdom anniversary of General Soleimani, who lost his live in the way of security and countering terrorism, once again demonstrated that his way will remain forever, the statement said.  

It added that attacking the security of the Iranian people has no other purpose than to disrupt the unity of this nation.
