“Islamic countries need to unify to benefit from common trade interests”

President of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) Samad Hassanzadeh has stressed the need for Islamic countries to unify in line with common trade interests.

Hassanzadeh made the remarks addressing the 36th Board of Directors meeting of the Islamic Chamber for Commerce and Development (ICCD) in Amman, Jordan, on Monday.

He said that further dialogue and cooperation within the framework of ICCD will boost peace and stability in the Muslim world and strengthen trade mechanisms among OIC countries.

Noting that Iran is scheduled to host the 40th edition of the ICCD General Assembly and the 5th Conference on Health Tourism of Islamic Countries, Hassanzadeh invited all the member states to attend these events.  

He hailed the mission of the ongoing event which he said aims to gather together the private sectors of the Muslim countries to help intensify cooperation in the areas of trade, commerce, information technology, banking, investment opportunities and joint cooperation.
