President of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) Samad Hassanzadeh, highlighted the significant responsibilities shouldered by both Iran's government and private sector during what he described as a “historic moment” for the country.

Speaking at the second National Economic Security Conference on Sunday, Hassanzadeh attributed severe economic hardships to US and Western sanctions, stating that these unjust policies have disrupted Iran’s economic environment, limiting financial transactions and access to diverse international markets.

He added that these external pressures have extended beyond the economy, posing threats to national security and stability.

Highlighting the need for unity, Hassanzadeh urged the government and the private sector to join forces in addressing these challenges, which aligns with the vision of the country’s president and other top-ranking officials. “Only by working together can we bring the economy to new heights,” he said.

The Iran Chamber of Commerce presiedent also stressed the importance of securing investments, expanding into global markets, and increasing government support for exports, particularly in technical and engineering fields.

Pointing out that most Iranian exports are limited to only five countries, he called for broader access to global markets for the private sector.
