Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) has expressed support for government’s stance regarding the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
Addressing during an ICCIMA Board of Representatives on Sunday, Keyvan Kashefi, a chamber of commerce board member, announced that the ICCIMA plans to act in coordination with the government in regard to FATF.
He hailed the government efforts to get the country out of the FATF blacklist, noting that the ICCIMA Board of Directors is due to issue a statement in support for such government measures.
In his first press conference after taking office in mid-September, President Masoud Pezeshkian pledged his government's commitment to resolve disputes surrounding the FATF and the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) to improve Iran's foreign relations and achieve long-term goals.
