Alaeddin Mir-Mohammadsadeghi, a prominent Iranian entrepreneur and former board member of Iran Chamber of Commerce, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 93.
He was widely recognized for his philanthropic efforts, having established numerous charitable foundations throughout Iran.
Following the 1979 Islamic Revolution, he joined Iran Chamber of Commerce under a directive from the Late Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic, and played a significant role in revitalizing the chamber’s operations.
He also held the position of chairman for many years, first at the Iran-Britain Joint Chamber of Commerce and later at the Iran-Canada Joint Chamber of Commerce.
The president and board members of Iran Chamber of Commerce have collectively expressed their condolences on the passing of Alaeddin Mir-Mohammadsadeghi, extending their sympathies to his grieving family.
In their message, they prayed for his soul to rest in peace and acknowledged his death as a significant loss for Iran's private sector.
